THE ULTIMATE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE TO BUCKET-LIST LOCATIONS
Each year, we give our members the ultimate reflection time with the Be The Standard Annual Retreat.
We travel to ‘bucket list’ locations as a group and use this time to reflect on our year, as well as build up our relationships with fellow members.
Since the group started, we have seen the incredible sights of the Northern Lights and relaxed in the natural thermal spas in the Blue Lagoon in Iceland.
2023’s Retreat saw members take a walk through an essential part of WWII history, visiting Oskar Schindler’s Enamel Factory and the powerful, yet haunting, Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum in Poland.
THE ICELAND TIMELINE
Dayone
On our first day, we visited an ‘out of this world’ location in the heart of a volcanic landscape; the Blue Lagoon. Members took full advantage of the relaxing settings and geothermal spa treatments before returning to our hotel for a more traditional Be The Standard session, with members taking time to reflect on their lives, careers, and personal development journeys so far.
Daytwo
We hosted a goal setting session in which members set 2023 goals for their career, home life, personal life, and life intention. They will reflect on these goals the next annual retreat.
In the evening, we fueled our adrenaline on snowmobiles, chasing the Northern Lights on a glacier, whilst also visited the Geysir hot springs, before heading out for a group social to unwind.
THE RETREaTS
2022: Reykjavik, Iceland
In 2022, during the retreat to Reykjavik, we witnessed the incredible Northern Lights, relaxed in the natural thermal spas of the Blue Lagoon and snowmobiled across the breathtaking white landscape.
We also had talks from some of our members and guests, including Be the Standard ambassadors Andy Grant, Mike Bates and Jamie Jones Buchanan.
2023: Krakow, Poland
In 2023, the retreat to Krakow saw members take a walk through an essential part of WWII history, visiting Oskar Schindler’s Enamel Factory and the powerful, yet haunting, Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. We also spent a day doing adrenaline-fuelled activities, including driving through an off-road woodland on quad bikes and testing our aim at a shooting range.
Seminars were delivered by the world-leading transformation coach, Kirk Miller, legendary Boxer, David Haye, and Be the Standard Ambassador, Mike Bates.
2024: Athens, Greece
Our 2024 Be The Standard Annual Retreat took in the historical capital city of Greece…Athens!
From exploring the wonders of the ancient Acropolis and Parthenon, to taking time for reflection, goal setting and team building, the Athens Retreat was a well deserved rest and re-set for our members.
2025: Sorrento, Italy
In 2025, the annual Be the Standard Retreat is taking every Be the Standard member to Sorrento in Italy.
With its winding cobbled streets, citrus-scented air, and sweeping views across the Bay of Naples, Sorrento sets the perfect stage for reflection, connection, and inspiration. From historic piazzas to world-class cuisine and unforgettable sunsets over the sea, this retreat offers not only growth and learning but also the chance to experience one of Italy’s most enchanting destinations.
